London Legal Accounting & SRA Compliance Specialists

SRA Accounts Rules apply to every firm, but every practice handles them differently. Whether you are a fintech-focused firm in EC2 or a property practice in Mayfair, AM Strategic rejects cookie-cutter accounting to deliver bespoke, practice-specific cashiering and COFA support.

FAQs

Clear answers to common queries regarding Clio and Xero integration and workflow optimisation.

Our primary focus is Central London — the EC1, EC2, W1, WC1, and WC2 postcode areas — where the concentration of regulated law firms is highest. We do work with firms based elsewhere in London and the surrounding area where we have capacity. If your practice is based outside these areas, please get in touch and we will advise whether we are able to take you on.

All of our services are delivered remotely, working directly within your existing cloud-based systems. You do not need to be based in London, and we do not visit client offices as part of our standard service. London-based firms are our primary market because of the density and regulatory complexity of the legal sector here, but the service itself operates entirely online.

If your firm handles client money — which includes almost all solicitors’ practices — you need a specialist. A general bookkeeper is not trained in the SRA Accounts Rules, does not understand the distinction between client and office accounts, and cannot produce a compliant three-way reconciliation. The consequences of a compliance breach for your COFA and your firm are serious enough that generalist support represents a genuine regulatory risk.
